'Paatebagh': a book on Bengal Tiger launched

The first ever book written in Nepali on Tiger has been launched today. The book was authored by one of the leading conservationists, Dr. Hem Sagar Baral and published by Himalayan Nature. The launching of the book was done by one of the senior most biodiversity expert of the country Prof. Dr. Tirtha Bahadur Shrestha and; review and comments were made by senior tiger expert Dr. Jhamak Bahadur Karki. Other speakers included Deputy Director General of Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation (DNPWC) Dr. Ram Chandra Kandel, Joint Secretary of Ministry of Forests and Environment Dr. Sudha Dhungana and Director General of DNPWC Mr. Gopal Prakash Bhattrai. The launching ceremony was run by Research Officer of Himalayan Nature Mr. Kul Bahadur Thapa. The guests were from MoFE, DNPWC, DoF, HN, NTNC, ZSL Nepal, GGN, Professors from TU, journalists and other representatives from various conservation organizations. The book divided into 14 sections contain various information about tiger.
